Happy New Year!

It's been wonderful to relax with various hot drinks in front of our first Christmas tree in our first Christmas in our new home. Since we both felt a bit under the weather after the 80+ degree drop from South American summertime to Colorado winter, we were glad to rest and enjoy some good books, catch up on needed rest, and fun times with friends. Now on this eve of 2009, we are anticipating many new adventures, relationships, and lots of work for this coming year. But we are blessed with work, as many who are struggling to find jobs during this difficult economic time can attest to.

We have a list for this upcoming that feels quite daunting, but we know that with God, all things are possible. Hasn't he proved that o'er and o'er? "...Oh what peace we often forfeit, or what needless pain we bear, all because we do not carry everything to the Lord in prayer."

God is miraculous and fills us with wonder - we pray you see it all the more in this new year!
For starters, we plan on spending the first day of 2009 on a long hike in the mountains marveling in His creativity!
