Safe Travels

We leave very early tomorrow morning for Jamaica. With just a couple odds and ends to wrap up and a bit more packing, we're ready to go. Tomorrow is going to be a long day of traveling.

We leave for the airport at 3am, the flight is scheduled to take off at 5:20am, the connection in Memphis is at 9:30am, and we're scheduled to land at 1:45pm. At 4:30pm a bus takes us from the northern coastal town of Montego Bay (MoBay) to the capital of Kingston on the southern coast and we hope to successfully check into our hotel in Upper Kingston around 9:30pm.

As usual, we'll try to check back in with periodic updates and prayer requests. For the next 48 hours pray for:
- Safe and smooth connections from house to hotel, especially connecting between airport and hotel in Jamaica
- That our luggage arrives with us in MoBay and transfers all the way to the hotel without getting lost or stolen.
- That we'll rest well in the hotel Wed night and be ready to hit the ground running on Thurs
- For our meeting scheduled with the Jamaican Association of the Deaf (JAD) at 2pm on Thurs. That we'll understand eachother's aims well and be able to coordinate our efforts and partner together in this work
- That our home in Longmont would remain safe while we are gone
- For good first impressions with all we meet - usually all we have to go on is first impressions and we don't get a second chance.

Thanks!

I love Sir Walter Scott's IVANHOE! It was one of my favorite books in high school. I hope you're enjoying it, too!

Love and prayers for safe travels,
Yenn
